Arrival and departure
What are the arrival and departure days?
During the high season in July and August, arrival and departure on Saturdays only. Outside the high season, arrival and departure is possible on almost any day. If you would like to arrive and/or depart on a particular day, please contact us, preferably by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
What are the arrival and departure times?
We would like to welcome you between 16:00 and 18:00. If you wish to arrive outside this window, we would like to hear from you.
Departure time is between 8:00 and 10:00.
Where can I find the route description?
If we have your email address, you will receive our welcome email 2 weeks before arrival with detailed directions for the last part of your journey.
Can I use the facilities on the day of arrival and departure?
Yes, of course. However, please register at the reception-desk first upon arrival.
Are the houses all furnished in the same way?
The interior is similar for all accommodations. The standard of quality is equal.
How many people can make use of the accommodation during the rental period?
The description of the accommodation indicates how many people the accommodation is suited for. This number corresponds with the number of beds available in the accommodation and is the maximum number of persons allowed. Due to safety regulations, no additional guests are allowed to stay in the house. It is therefore not possible to place extra beds/camping beds/air mattresses. Children up to and including 2 years old are accepted as an extra person. The baby/child must then sleep in a cot which can be ordered during the booking procedure or at the reception desk at an additional cost of € 2.50 per day.
Can we reserve a specific bungalow or villa?
You can indicate your preference when booking. We will do our best to satisfy your request but cannot guarantee the result beforehand.
Are accommodations suitable for asthma / COPD patients?
The floors of the houses are usually tiled. House No's 53 to 59 and the safari-tents have wooden floors. In all premises, it is NOT allowed to smoke inside. Pets are not allowed in most houses. Please indicate when booking if you have special requests.
Are there accommodations specially designed for disabled or less mobile persons?
A number of houses in the park are suitable for the disabled. These houses have wide doors and the bathroom has no threshold. The houses are named 4 pers. OPTIMA. There are 2 houses located next to each other so one can book one house for up to 4 people or two houses for up to 8 people.
Are there non-smoking accommodations in the park?
Our houses are all non-smoking. Smoking is allowed on the terrace.
Is bed linen compulsory?
Bed linen is compulsory. In the description of the houses, you will see the additional costs. It is possible to replace the bed linen during your stay at a minor cost.
Are towel and kitchen linen packages available?
Towel packages are not included as standard but can be ordered during your booking or when checking in at the reception. Kitchen linen is included in the rent.
Do all houses of a certain type have the same facilities?
Yes, the standard equipment is basically the same at the accommodations at Village de Montmarsis.
Can we clean the accommodation ourselves?
Yes you can but final cleaning is compulsory. You can see the costs in the description of the house or safari-tent.
How can I cancel my holiday?
To cancel your reservation, you can contact the reception desk by e-mail and state the reason for cancellation. We will inform you wheather a refund is possible. For further information, please refer to the general terms and conditions which also contain the cancellation conditions.
Is it possible to take out cancellation insurance?
You have the possibility to take out a cancellation insurance yourself. This is not possible via Parc Village de Montmarsis and/or Maison Vacances France.
What are the cancellation conditions?
Look at the bottom of the homepage for the general terms and conditions in which the cancellation conditions are included.
Can I pay the total amount upon arrival?
Payment upon arrival is only possible if you have booked Last Minute (arrival within 7 days after reservation).
Am I obliged to make a deposit?
You will be required to pay the booking costs within 8 days after the booking date. The rest of the amount due will be invoiced approximately 6 weeks before arrival.
Will I receive a confirmation when my payment has arrived?
Yes, one day after the administration has processed your payment, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
To which account number should I transfer the payment?
You can transfer the payment(s) to the account number that you will find on your invoice, stating your name and reservation number.
How do I make a payment abroad?
If you bank via the internet, first select the option “foreign payment”. Then enter the IBAN and BIC code without spaces. Then you fill out the other data and possibly the currency.
What payment options are there?
You can pay with a bank card, credit card or for additional items also with cash at the reception desk.
Can I request a deferred payment or pay in instalments?
In principle, you cannot. If the case arises please contact us to discuss.
Is a deposit required upon arrival?
The reception-desk reserves the right to collect a security deposit via pre-authorization on your credit card. The damage deposit is also possible in Cash.
When will I get my deposit back?
If the house is left in accordance with the guidelines, the reservation / deposit will be released / refunded to your account within two weeks. In case of breakage (inventory) or other damage or excessive pollution, all or part of the deposit will be withheld to cover the cost of the damage.
What are the additional (mandatory) costs on top of the rental price?

Is there internet available?
A secure network (WiFi) is available in all accommodations.
Is there a supermarket in the area?
Casino, Lidl, Intermarché, Carrefour and other shops are a 4–10 minute drive from Village de Montmarsis.
Is there a sandwich service at the park?
Yes, a bread roll service is available at Village de Montmarsis, allowing you to buy freshly baked bread every morning during the summer season. Outside the season you can visit the bakery in the village of Gourdon which is less then 5 minutes by car.
Is there a swimming pool and tennis court at the park?
Yes, at Village de Montmarsis there is a swimming pool and a children's pool. There is a tennis court, a football and volleyball court, playground and boules court.
Is it possible to park the car at the accommodation?
There are parking spaces within walking distance of your accommodation. Luggage, unloading groceries is possible at the accommodation. A second car or trailer can be parked in the large parking lot at the reception area.
What are the options for renting children's items?
You can rent a high chair and/or babycot. You will see the prices when you make a booking. Children up to and including 2 years old can sleep in a cot. 3 year old children sleep in a bed.
Is there an animation team present?
In the summer season, Village de Montmarsis offers all kinds of animations and activities for our youngest guests.
What are the terms and conditions of Village de Montmarsis / Maison Vacances France?
The General Terms and Conditions can be found on our website. You will find a reference to the General Terms and Conditions at the bottom of the homepage.
Does the park have space for meetings or events?
The park has special facilities for meetings and events. For Company outings, weddings or events, please contact us.
Are pets welcome?
We have several houses where dogs are allowed. There is a surcharge for pets that you can see when you make a booking or in the house description. You must indicate if you bring a pet when booking. In the park, dogs must be on a leash. There are special house rules for pets which you will receive upon arrival.
Is a barbecue allowed?
This is allowed at Village de Montmarsis. A Weber BBQ can be reserved during the booking and is then ready at your accommodation.
I have made an online reservation. Is it now final?
As soon as you have received a reservation confirmation by e-mail, the reservation is final. However, you still have to make the down payment within 8 days.
If I book via the internet, how do I pay?
If you make a reservation via the internet, you will receive an invoice after your booking. You must pay the deposit payment within 8 days.
I have already made a reservation, but I would like to add or change something. How do I do this?

What happens to my personal information?
Your personal data will not be made available to third parties and will remain in Village de Montmarsis/ Maison Vacances France's possession. Look at the bottom of the homepage for our privacy statement.
Can I take an option on a reservation?
You can request an option by telephone or e-mail. The duration of an option will be determined by the reception-desk and partly depends on the number of available accommodations.
Is it possible to book multiple accommodations (next to each other)?
It is possible (based on availability) to book accommodations next to each other. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I change my reservation?
The reservation you have made is final. If you want to make changes, for example, to extend the stay period, or to reorder things like towels or baby furniture, you can contact us at: email@example.com
